Our Story

Pizza on your fingertips

The beginning

Initially Ludovic is a self-taught. The Pizza he fell in in 2002, and started adventure in his food truck.

Very quickly, Ludovic starts training at the very sources of Pizza, in Italy of course!

He learns with the Maestros the art of Napolitan pizza, but also the Roman pizza, Contemporary, Focaccia... He wanted to be complete on his subject.

He even practices the Acrobat Pizza, this art of juggling with dough, which puts stars in the eyes of children.

In 2013 he opened Il Gusto di Napoli in Sausset les pins.

Ludovic Bicchierai remembers with emotion this day of April 13, 2016.

This happened in Parma, during the oldest (more than 30 years) and the most recognized Pizzaiolos championships.

Ludovic became the only and first Frenchman to win this championship, against 750 players.

Enlisted in competitions since 2008, the Frenchy had experience, but no certainty.

  • 3rd Champion of France Pizza Classic (Paris 2016)
  • 3rd Champion of France Pizza Classic (Paris 2015)
  • French Rapidity Champion (Paris 2014)
  • French Champion of the most beautiful pizza (Paris 2016)
  • 3rd Champion of France Pizza Acrobatique (Paris 2017)
  • 5th World Cup in Neapolitan Pizza STG (Parme, 2022)
  • 6th World Pizza Due (Parme 2023)
  • French Rapidity Champion (Paris 2024)

In 2017 he also obtained the National « Master Craftsman »an official recognition of competence and know-how, the highest craft qualification which attests to the level of training and professional experience.

These titles demonstrate a commitment to excellence, but not an end in itself. I continue to learn and move forward, aware that every step taken is an opportunity to progress."

In 2023, Ludovic took up a new challenge of deploying his concept on a large scale.

Today, already 6 establishments and 5 vending machines dealers use this brand and its specifications.
